  Canadian artist Anita Kunz talks about the inspiration behind her brand new art book, ORIGINAL SISTERS: PORTRAITS OF TENACITY AND COURAGE (Pantheon). MAUS: A SURVIVOR’S TALE, A Graphic Novel About Holocaust History, Has Been Banned in Tennessee

The graphic novel, MAUS: A SURVIVOR’S TALE, which portrays the horrors of The Holocaust, has been banned by a Tennessee school board by unanimous vote from the eighth grade curriculum. Art Spiegelman, Pulitzer Prize-winning artist and creator of the esteemed work has made some recent media appearances to show support for his book which he feels has been wrongfully banned.
