Video Book Review: What is Obscenity? by Rokudenashiko

  Here’s a quick post to share a nice video of a book review done by a YouTuber named chekherjoy for Rokudenashiko’s book, “What is Obscenity?: The Story of a Good For Nothing Artist and her Pussy ” (Koyama Press). The book was edited by Graham Kolbeins, translated by Anne Ishii and the book cover was designed by Chip Kidd.

GQ INDIA Magazine Adds Chip Kidd’s GO Book to 2016 TEN BEST BOOKS ON DESIGN List!

  Hey, here’s some pretty cool “Chip Kidd” news! The GQ INDIA Magazine website recently added Chip’s book, “GO: A Kidd’s Guide to Graphic Design” (Workman) to their official list of the “TEN BEST BOOKS ON DESIGN of 2016”. Oh man, that is SO freakin’ awesome! Thanks GQ!!          

The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye Makes the NPR List of Best Graphic Novels of 2016

  Here’s a quick shout out to Pantheon Books and Author Sonny Liew who’s book, The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye, made the NPR “Best Graphic Novels of 2016” List.  The cover is shown up above and down below is an example of some of the other books that made the list.  WOW, what an honor!!   On October 18th, 2016 James Gleick (Author) and Maria Popova appeared at the 92nd Street Y to discuss his new book, TIME TRAVEL: A HISTORY.
