Chip Kidd’s new book, “GO! A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design”, just got another wonderful book review and we could not be happier. The cool thing about it is that the review was done as both an audio clip that you can listen to and it’s also an article you can read… Hey, that’s fun and quirky!
It was spoken/written by Beth Golay for KMUW 98.1 Wichita Public Radio. Now, we couldn’t embed the clip here at this site but if you CLICK HERE you can hear it in it’s entirety and we ask that you please do so because it’s really cool. (Thank you Beth, and good job).

Over at the PSFK website one of their reporters, Plus Aziz, just wrote an excellent piece on the current issue of Vintage Magazine. The article also includes an interview with Vintage Magazine's editor & founder, Ivy Baer Sherman. They discuss the invention of the publication and also talk about the fact that the current issue has a cover designed by Chip Kidd, which is in stores now.

OK, if you have ever been curious about what it’s like to hear a speaking engagement performed by Chip Kidd then you need to go read this very excellent article they just published at the BROWN DAILY HERALD. It was written by a Reporter named Zach Fredericks and he did a good job of making you feel like you attended the actual event. He shares a lot of fun information on a recent lecture Chip Kidd gave to some Brown and Rhode Island School of Design students who piled into the Martinos Auditorium in the Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts.

OK, This is a post that is sort of hard to describe, but please follow me here. Besides doing a ton of book cover designs for Random House, Knopf, and other publishers, Chip Kidd stays pretty busy traveling all over the world to do lectures, book signings, and other speaking engagements. In fact, if YOU would like to hire him to come to your town you can do so by visiting the Random House SPEAKER’S BUREAU website, just CLICK HERE.
Anyway, this post shares an article written over at the TRANSMISSION website. This is a site for a design firm in Australia and they also share personal events in their lives inside a blogging area of their site. What we would love to mention is they did sort of a review on one of Chip’s Book Signing Lectures. Yes, a review on a speaker event! It’s blatantly honest and extremely well-written. So, thank you TRANSMISSION!
We would also like to mention that if you are ever wondering where Chip Kidd might show-up next you can always visit the NEXT APPEARANCE page of our website. The TAB for that page is always up above, just below the header.

Carey Dunne, a freelance writer for the FAST COMPANY website, just wrote a very excellent Book Review for Chip Kidd’s new book that just came out titled, “GO! A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design” (Workman Publishing). Her article has an interesting angle on the book’s overall design but what I enjoy about it the best is the ton of photos and other reference material that gives you a really great insight into how the content of the book looks and what it all means. It’s a fun article , seriously. So, if you have the time, please give it a quick read… just CLICK HERE!
