Hey, Chip Kidd Got Nominated For a 2015 Eisner Award! #SDCC

In collaboration with the San Diego Comic Con the comic book industry has an event known as THE EISNER AWARDS. It’s named after the extremely prolific and highly influential Graphic Novel Artist/Writer, Will Eisner. This year, 2015, the designer Chip Kidd made the list along with his two partners in crime, Anne Ishii and Graham Kolbeins.  

Their nomination is for the book, “Massive: Gay Erotic Manga and the Men Who Make It”, published by Fantagraphics.   Their spot is located in the “Best Anthology” category.

The awards will be given out during a gala ceremony on Friday, July 10th during Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
