This post is a quick shout-out for an extremely cool podcast in Oklahoma City called BETTER THAN FICTION. It’s main theme is comic book collecting, nerd culture, movies, and more…. but in episode #116 they totally geeked-out on the Author and Book Designer Chip Kidd. Their main focus was Chip Kidd’s recent book, GO: A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design (Workman). But they also discuss many other of Chip’s book cover designs and we could not be more proud of that. Thanks guys!
Here’s a LINK to their website, please check them out sometime. Also, here’s the podcast embedded down below. Please be sure to check out episode #116!!
Real quick, we wanna thank the guys over at THE OKC EDGE website for posting a very excellent book review for Chip Kidd’s book, “GO: A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design” (Workman Publishing). It’s very well thought out and has an interesting angle. The author of that post, Scott Cosby (who’s main personal focus is being a digital colorist for comic books), actually bought the book to improve his color design skills and he said it was a great inspiration. Thanks Scott!

In a previous post here at CHIPKIDD.COM we mentioned that Chip’s new book, “GO! A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design” (Workman Publishing Company) was gonna be translated into Korean for the book market in South Korea. Well, it has been finished and it’s in stores there now! Also, if YOU would like a copy for yourself then please visit this WEBSITE right here!
Yes, we can’t read the Korean language either, but it would be a super-fun book to have. They did a great job on the translation and it looks beautiful!
This post is a quick shout-out and “thank you” to the EPILOGUE: EPIC READS FOR TEENS website for posting a wonderful book review on Chip Kidd’s latest book titled, “GO! A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design” (Workman). It’s always exciting to come across these things on the web, we love it!
