Here’s a quick post to share a nice video of a book review done by a YouTuber named chekherjoy for Rokudenashiko’s book, “What is Obscenity?: The Story of a Good For Nothing Artist and her Pussy ” (Koyama Press). The other night I fell down the YouTube Rabbit Hole. Yes, we have all been trapped there at one time or another. But my reward was that I discovered this fun “Book Review” video on Chip Kidd and Dave Taylor’s BATMAN: DEATH BY DESIGN Graphic Novel (DC Comics). The book has been out for awhile and it’s extremely cool that it still gets some really good attention. Yeah, we love that!

This guy shares a lot of interesting information about the book and it’s worth checking out!

Real quick, we wanna thank the guys over at THE OKC EDGE website for posting a very excellent book review for Chip Kidd’s book, “GO: A Kidd’s Guide To Graphic Design” (Workman Publishing). It’s very well thought out and has an interesting angle. The author of that post, Scott Cosby (who’s main personal focus is being a digital colorist for comic books), actually bought the book to improve his color design skills and he said it was a great inspiration.
