Something pretty amazing recently happened over at THE NEW YORKER Magazine website. One of their reporters, Roland Kelts, published a story titled, “ILLUSTRATING MURAKAMI”. It covers the release of Haruki Murakami’s latest book, “The Strange Library” (Knopf).

But this is no ordinary book review. The thing we’re very excited about is that it’s main focus is the design of the book and they mention that it was designed by Chip Kidd. For those who don’t know, the book is illustrated inside with many photos and graphics and Mr. Kelts really seemed to enjoy that.

So, thank you to him, and the New Yorker, for the wonderful news coverage. We really appreciate that. We would also like to mention that this article got picked-up by many other blogs and book-related websites and it seems to be going crazy!
